It offers programs for citizenship, life skills, English at the workplace, and TOEFL preparation. TOEFL is the Test of English as a Foreign Language, which is a requirement of many institutions of higher education for applicants whose primary language is not English. In addition, the Lab is supervised by a certified English as a Second Language instructor. The instructor's role is to assist students and facilitate learning.
